Privacy Policy
Harbor Automation is a brand of AC Tomkins & Company LLC ("AC Tomkins," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Harbor Automation platform and its tools (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and organization, provided when you sign in. Authentication is handled by our identity provider.
- Content you provide — files, spreadsheets, and other data you upload to run an automation, and the outputs it generates.
- Connected-service data — when you connect a third-party account such as QuickBooks Online, we access data from that account as needed to provide the automation you requested (see section 4).
- Usage and technical data — basic operational logs (for example timestamps, IP address, and actions taken) used to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service and its automations;
- authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- communicate with you about the Service; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your information.
3. Where information is stored, and how we protect it
- Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (databases and object storage) operated on our behalf.
- Credentials and access tokens for connected services are encrypted at rest.
- Access is limited to authorized personnel and to the automations you choose to run.
4. QuickBooks Online integration
- If you connect a QuickBooks Online company, you authorize us, through Intuit's OAuth process, to access that company's accounting data (such as transactions and reports) solely to provide the automation you requested.
- We store the resulting access and refresh tokens encrypted at rest and use them only to retrieve the data needed for your automations.
- We do not sell QuickBooks data and do not share it except with the service providers listed in section 5 that are necessary to operate the Service.
- You can disconnect a QuickBooks company at any time from the integration settings. Disconnecting revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens; QuickBooks-derived data is then deleted or de-identified as described in section 6.
5. Sharing and service providers
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, under appropriate confidentiality obligations, including providers for identity and authentication, cloud hosting and storage, the QuickBooks Online integration (Intuit), and email delivery. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.
6. Retention and deletion
- We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
- Disconnecting a connected service deletes its stored access tokens.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
7. Your choices
- You may access, correct, or request deletion of your information by contacting us.
- You may disconnect any connected service at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
